The International Association of Blacks in Dance, which works to raise the awareness of blacks in dance, held its annual conference in Toronto, Ontario. Toronto's The Globe and Mail article, "Highlighting diversity of black dancers is the goal of Toronto event," looks at the existence of white and black dance and discusses the difference between "blacks in dance" and "black dance."
